My eldest is going to be 4 in 9 days and doesnt want a party. so rather than just take a cake into school i was going to do party bags for all the 39 children in his class instead rather than them just get a piece of cake?? what do you girlies think? But i dont know what to put in them? they are 3 and 4 year old. i was going to give them all a carton drink, get the school to do the whole cake and blow out the candles thing and sing happy bday if i send a big cake in and buy the serviettes to wrap it in and ask them to pop a slice in each of the bags. but what else can i put in? apart from a drink and a piece of cake? i was thinking maybe a lolly and 1 of them tescos version of milky ways? what do u think? and what else goes in them? x

Libby went to a party last weekend and the put in cheap bangle, a whistle, couple of other little cheap toys (a bit cheap xmas crackerish) and a tiny bag of haribo. Libby was really impressed!! (although shes only 2) I'm sure Tesco's do some party bag bits really cheap? xx

You could just put one little toy in each bag? I'm sure Tesco do 6 pack of 6 bits for £1 and if you get a big bag of the little haribo bags (I'm sure poundland do them) I think you get about 10? xx

If you have a local dollar store..its way cheaper. I throw in stickers, some candy, if doing gender bags, for girls a lip balm..boys a matchbox car, tiny necklaces that blow bubbles, some sidewalk chalk..etc.
