I usually get dinner ready in the mornings so Simon can just shove it in the oven before I get home from work, so yesterday I get a text asking me how to make crumble, I told him the amounts were on the fridge (a little note so I dont forget) and told him how to make that bit, he wanted to do a pear one so I told him to just chop the pear in chunks and put the crumble mixture on top. I got home from work and it was in the oven, I looked at it and he hadn't peeled the pears and just cut them into quarters

Bless him, it tasted lovely but was a bit of a pain having to try and cut the peel with the spoon At least he tried I suppose xx

Well 10/10 for effort!

My OHs idea of cooking is phoning domino's or perhaps sticking something from Tesco finest in the oven and beaming like he's made a huge effort... in saying that I rarely cook from scratch either so cant moan!

I didn't want to say anything because it really was tasty and he had tried really hard
