Eeek... I have got my sweep tomorrow at the hospital. Im only going to be 38+1 so not holding out much hope of it working but keeping my fingers crossed. Also got one on Friday and Monday if nothing happens.

good luck! i got one at 37 weeks, waters went 3 days later after plug - ended up being induced due to pe but the sweep definitely got things started

Well, I had the sweep and he had to stop because he said I am already 4cm dilated and he was worried he would break my waters.

So, no more sweeps for me (was due one on Fri & Mon) and he has booked me in for an induction next Wednesday.

He is very confident that baby will be here before that though.

I was getting contractions lasting 30 seconds and 4-5 mins apart for about 3 hours, and now... nothing! Grrrr!

eek hope its not too long!! I wsas like that the day before I had Hollie!! they stopped in the afternoon but come the night they were back good and proper! and had her in the morn!! eeek good luck!!! Im expecting some baby news by the morning!!! xxx
