| With all of this snow weve got I am absolutely petrified of leaving the house in case I fall over. We ventured shopping yesterday but luckily the paths in the town we went to were nice and clear but I'm at work at the moment and its snowing again so I'm petrified of going anywhere Is it just me or is anyone else feeling the same???? Oh but on a plus note, I'm feeling little man's hiccups for the first time xx |

| I'm the same too even though no snow yet...It did cross my mind this morning about being in the car on my own. I have to leave at 07:15am and go cross country to get to work and it's very seldom I see another car. xx |

| I'm so blinky clumsy normally so makes me worry even more when there's snow/ice to contend with. We've had another huge downfall so looking at about 5inches at the moment, the main problem is on the paths where the snow has compacted to ice. I feel bad though because Libby loves it so much - cant win!!! xx |

| I haven't really been out in it, luckily I don't HAVE to be anywhere. We've got loads of ice on my drive which is quite steep so I don't really want to risk it |

| In answer to your Q, pretty much Thing is, I fell well before this bad weather hit - it was just the start of it with frost - but you couldn't even see it, was black ice on stone paving. It was bloody awful though, to manage to lose all grip, try to step to save yourself but that does no good as it's so slippy - then have both feet whipped away from underneath you and go with such a bang that you manage to smack your face on the ground It happened so quick too but was glad of immediate pain in wrist because it meant no pain in bump. Going to hospital wasn't nice but necessary - someone was looking after us though as pip was fine, I must have twisted and landed sideways, and after monitoring / ctg trace done and fully checked out we were reassured. My wrist still hasn't recovered and I don't expect it to be back to strength for some time either, my hips / pelvis / bump muscles were absoloutely shot through for 48hours before subsiding to aches... but then the lovely sickness bug hit so at least I had a distraction (can think of better - poor bean so ill, me more sickly than I've ever had before, then hubby.... URGH!) No particular moral to the story but I'm not allowed to walk unsupervised... and my mum gave me money to buy some snowboots... Been looking at ugg-style cheapies but no luck with a good fit yet. Take it steady, go reeeeeaaaaaallllllllllyyyyyyy slow if needed and when getting in/ out of car don't step with one leg - twist and use both feet so you're not putting all your balance out and risking falling - hope that makes sense xx

| Aw Grace that's sounds awful!! So glad everything was OK with Pip though, must of been blinking scary though. I've literally only walked to the car, although did venture to the shop from work yesterday (NEEDED mince pies ) but luckily the council and had actually spent some money in town and gritted the pavements so they were OK. We've had yet another flurry of snow again last night so unless that disappears by tomorrow we wont be going anywhere this weekend xxx |

| i've had a fall but that was after i lost all feeling in my legs a couple of weeks ago and i was in the house, i twisted and landed on hip and shoulder, very painful, but bubs decided to tell me off by moving all night so i felt ok after that.
but i'm scared of this weather, i keep getting told off by one lady at work for going out the house in this weather just in case.
hubby wants to wrap me in cottonwool |
