hmmm well i asked my mother if we can move in for a few months next year, til hubby graduates. it would be such a lifesaver financially and practically, but im not sure shes keen...(don't blame her)

ive been waiting 2 days for her to email me back (although she texted to say she had read my 'proposal' and would reply after pondering). so i dont want to pester her but it would be such a relief.

i will be heartbroken if she says no but cant tell her that cos she wouldnt be able to make a real decision!

i know, we like our own space too and im worried we would strangle each other - i think my mum waited 20 years to get her house back haha so i really wouldnt blame her if she said no (im not even sure how me or hubby would cope) but it would be so nice...and she has a garden and lives by a park and stuff.......ahh sigh

LOL..tell me about it! When we first moved up here from Vancouver..we lived with my parents for a couple months..and my dad was THE WORST! He had me as his personal live in chef and maid..and dared to pick a fight with me over picking up HIS dogs poo outside! I refused..and said..whacha gonna do dad...ground me? We bought this shit box of a house in sheer desperation to get out! Two other houses were on the market at the time..and were in worse condition!

hahaha well, that was really what the email was about - my concerns for all of our mental health, however we have a very open relationship and got all of that stuff out of the way several years ago hopefully if she says no she waits til after my bday so im not miserable on it hahaha

I live with my parents, moved back when I found out I was pregnant and I love it! I'd be so bored on my own when OH wa sin work otherwise

my mum has started telling me what to do, it's f*cking annoying. i'd kill her if we moved in we've only got on since i moved out!

my mother hasn't told me what to do for about 10 years we have a pretty good relationship now that we have realised we both need loads of distance and space we get on a lot better now we dont live together but when i stayed there after graduation we got on really well - i think so long as we have our own things to do we are fine

anyway she emailed me back and said she would really like us all to stay for a few months so we will probably have a ground rules meeting and try and figure out what to do with our stuff - its such a relief having it as an option even if we dont go straight away

thats great news, at least it takes pressure off the money situation for a while.
