i suppose we all know someone like it , perfect in every way, the child has slept through since day one, never crys, never grumbles when teething, reached all their milestones quickly and likes to rub everyone elses nose in it. Its great to be proud when your Lo achieves something, i've always been over thr moon when ava does something new, its the way they like to make other people feel inferioir if their child hasn't done the same. there's one particularly on my fb from work that i'm going to get rid off because it drives me mad.

PMSL! I have to admit that I do feel a bit like this when I 'talk' about Hannah . She is just one of those babies that does everything she should do at 'milestones', she's a fantastic sleeper (always has been), fantastic eater and basically apart from being a tad clingy at times she really is the 'perfect' text book baby . It makes me feel a bit weird about talking about her sometimes because I feel as if people will think I'm bragging when I'm not in any way. She does all this stuff on her own - I can't take any credit - I am in NO WAY a perfect mother. However ladies, I know for a fact it will come back and bite me in the ass because she is so unbelievably like me it's unreal (I was a 'perfect' baby too ) and I was the most god awful, horrible, little shite of a teenager towards my parents (never out side the house thankfully) and I think Hannah will probably be the same . Thomas on the other hand was a terrible sleeper, even worse eater, into everything, tantrums from about 6 months , etc etc so that proves I don't think I'm perfect just that I have been extremely lucky to get a good one and even luckier that I got them this way around coz my mam was lulled into a false sense of security with me then my brother came along xx |

I totally agree... lets face it, there is no perfect mother out there really. All of our kids, no matter how much we love them, drive us insane at times! Its just automatically drilled into us, as mums, to forget the crappy stuff and talk about the good x

I agree i think mothers are genetically programmed to talk about the good stuff unless its to their nearest and dearest. I know im lucky with c. Picky eating and temper aside shes smart and funny and easy to look after and im so proud of her i cud bust and im always telling stories about her yet there are days ive threatened to put her out with the recycling cos shes driving me BANANAS I wudnt let it worry you too much xxx

Everything but the big 80's hair and god awful eye make up! Do admit to owning some spandex leggings, but anyone who "pretends" they are a saintly mother is lying! I have seen first hand mom's who act completely different for outsiders..but inside the walls..a totally different story. Moms are imperfect..tired..bitchy..cranky..snappish..and sometimes forget to wear their deodorant!
