..how the heck do you do it? How do you keep them ammused allllllllllllllllllll day??? Shocked

This is gonna sound mental because obviously 6 months ago I only had Thomas too but how quickly you forget.

Thomas has gone to my mams for a couple of nights "so I can get things organised for his birthday and christmas etc" Rolling Eyes and I have an absolute ton to do. Hannah is 'normally' so easy to amuse, spends most the day rolling around with her toys and giggling at her brother. Well Thomas isn't here and omg she is a nightmare! Shocked He only went yesterday lunch time and after her nap she must've realised he wasn't here and she literally screamed and whinged non stop till I put her to bed. She has woken in a good mood today but I cannot leave her sight, as soon as I move a metre away she goes nuts and it's 8.30am and she is obviously bored already. I know she adores her big brother but I never actually realised how much and how much he keeps her occupied and ammused!

I can see it's gonna be a looooooong day today and I'm not gonna get half my jobs done at this rate Neutral

Come back Thomas!!!!!! Sad

xx

Aww I will have them hun! Stick em in a taxi!

Honestly though - once Lily is a month or so older you will understand what I mean. They don't so much play together yet but are company for each other if I have to leave the room to get something/pee/clean etc.

I have twice as much to do with the kids but I seem to get 10x as much done in the house too and still have a little BANDA time and Laura chat time Wink

Lol Grace - bet ya didn't expect me to be moaning that I had one less Laughing

Seriously ladies - get another one - two is defo better than one. It's not so much a case of finding things to do with her it's the fact that I need to get stuff done round the house as well. It's coming back to me now how hard work it was when it was just me and Thomas. I was his sole source of company, ammusement and interest. Now I have the two of them I can pop Hannah in her jumperoo/bumbo/highchair/floor and Thomas will spend ages bouncing her up and down, bring her toys and just generally running around making her giggle. Thet constantly have each others attention so need mine less - freeing me up to get 'stuff' done.

I remember dreading the amount of 'work' having two under two would be but although it's double nappies, double feeds, double washing etc etc I get far more time to do these things because they have each other. We play together in the mornings and a lot of the time I find myself just sat watching them interacting. The first 3-4 months IS blummin hard work but after that two babies is defo the way to go Razz
