Is an expired passport still valid to use as I.D?? I swear i used to take my old passport out clubbing?! Laughing

Think dpends when you go i use to only have that as i.d some people would accept it out of date some wouldnt xx

yeah it is normally but it depends what it's for...i had to use my old one with the snipped corner for i.d for something (i think for a disclosure for a job) and they made a song and dance about it being out of date! its still my face and date of birth on there though - or are they out of date too????!!

Like others have said it depends where you go. I used mine for a while as i didn't have the money to get a new one and didn't have a drivers lisense and some places were fine accepting it and others made a right fuss about it and refused.

I used to use mine to get into clubs etc, but not sure it would be any use for buying knives/alcohol

Thanks girls, just that its my sisters 18th sat and she wants to drink but only has her old passport but the corner isnt snipped. Hopefully she will be able to use it!

Mine didn't have the corner cut off but some places got iffy about it. Wetherspoons especially in Brighton were moody bout it. Most said they'd allow it just the one time though xx

a friend of mine had to take i.d with him to an exam and they refused because it was out of date, he had to wait three months to sit again Sad

but going out clubbing im sure its fine! x
