i want to get one or the other but not sure whats best ! anyone got one of them or thinking of getting one ??im confused as to which has more to offer !

I pad can multi task now it's had the update as long as the application supports it. we have phones that run on android (the operating systen for galaxy) and to be honest the multi tasking aspect of it is hardly any different they really are very similar.

hve asked oh and he said if its just for home then the ipad would be better but if your wnting to take it out and about the galaxy is more portable due to the size.

maybe you could go and try them out, the apple store has the ipad out and carphone warehouse has the galaxy out.

the galaxy has an additional storage aspect so you can put memory cards in it, the ipad doesnt, and it also has a camera (not sure if there is one front and back) built in but would only be like a phone camera, the galaxy does come with the ability to put in a sim card to be used as a phone, the ipad cant. however the ipad has the ability to use the sim as a 3g connection but there are different ipads that come with or without the 3g port. they cost more with the 3g port.

we have an ipad and i think its brilliant, i would be just as happy with the galaxy too if im honest though because we use it only at home the bigger screen on the ipad is better for us!

also there is an ipad 2 coming out soon which will have a camera built in, not sure of the other specs yet though.

but that might be irrelevent if your looking to buy it now anyways but thought i would throw it out there!

well i have a pc and i hav an iphone 4 so im thinking that the ipad is just a bigger version thatn my fone ? i went and looked at the galaxy today! it would be for taking out so the size is fab im selling my lap top to get it.. it it the camera thats swaying me towards the glaxy though?? do you knwo how long it would be before ipad have a camera ?? im not sure of the quality of the galaxy tab camera or screen spec

If you have iPhone 4 you can sync with iPad, 2nd gen is supposed to be out early next yr..
I love iPad (on it now) you can multitask like your phone.. We have 3G and James takes it. Work as his photography portfolio is able to be viewed from the iMac
The prob with selling laptop is neither galaxy or iPad has the storage facility of your laptop! So like us all our music and photos are stored on the mac but viewable from the pad or our phones ...
Shame you can't trial them
