Well yesterday morning i woke up with what i thought/think is heartburn....it got worse as the day went on and knocked me sick last night.
Today its just been a constant pain and acidy and really hurts whilst/after ive eaten.
My Mum went and got me some gaviscon but it its absolutely savage and i cant take it rennies help for a few mins but thats all.
Do you normally get it for this long though? I had it throughout my pregnancy but that was on and off but this has been constantly since yesterday morning....Or could this be something else?
Im starting to get a sore throat now too

i had it when i was pregnant and it was constant from weeks 5-15 then week 23 onwards....are you sure you aren't up the duff???? gaviscon is vile but sadly it was the only thing that worked for me, i took it every hour and that was the only way to control it...maybe if its something you have eaten taking gaviscon a couple of times will get rid of it?

ugh i am having a heartburn flashback

Ive had it mildley throughout this pregnancy but had it really bad last week which followed with a sore throught and a full on flu/cold so maybe your coming down with something, hope not though and its just heartburn, milk always helped mine also

Have you tried other flavours of gaviscon, i can't remember which but i know there was one that was that wasnt completely vile. Milk also helped me. You need to do the other pregancy test. I'm impatient for you

me too! haha yeah i thought the aniseed was better at one point, then the mint then back to aniseed - its generally f*cking awful but better than heartburn

I didnt know there was another flavour, my mum got me the ainseed one it was like doing a thick sambuca shot

Still got it today but now i feel generally like sh*t so i prob am coming down with something (again )

Id restest next week if af hasnt turned up, ive had it when not pg but not to the extent i do when pg im on tabs from doctor for it and gaviscon. Finally gotten it under control which is a relief, lying on your left to sleep can help too

Ainseed I can't stand that. I think its the mint one I have. Its still not particularly nice but much better than ainseed.

Haha aww no bump buddy here im afraid Ill try and get the mint one today then and maybe try the tablet things they do? I didnt get it till quite late in preg with Tay, i even had it when i was having my c section

Eugh that must have been awful. I had it all through pregnancy - me&the gaviscon bottle were best friends.
