| Tyler's got a cold and cough at the mo, picked up from nursery (grrr) he's got quite a phlegmy (sp) chest. He normally goes to nursery 3 days a week but hasn't been since friday as he was a bit poory with this cold, but today and yesterday he seems fine in himself just the coughign and snot and phlegm Should I send him to nursery or not risk it? (they don't seem to care if kids go in ill.... which kind of annoys me!!) Im a bit annoyed we've had to keep him off as he had literally just started to settle in and wazsn't crying when I dropped him off tut. |

| I have sent Lily to nursery if she has a cold (not if she is really poorly obviously) as my reasoning is that she got it from there in the first place and all the others have had it or will have it anyway! I did not send her when she had conjunctivitis or would not send her if there was anything that i thought would be really contagious x |

| C doesnt go but if she did and had a cold i would still send her unless she had a temp or was ill with it or like kate said had summat nasty like conjunctivitis or pox. I think stuff like colds is good for immune systems so share and share alike lol |

| As long as he hasn't got a temp and is generally well in himself other than the cold, I would send him Hun, I'm a nursery nurse and at this time of year all children have coughs and colds..and I've got one too xx |

| Yeh cold isnt a problem - they could just as easily get one in the supermarket
It really pees me off when parents send sickly kids though, Izzy was forever coming home with a sick bug and it really annoyed me cos I wouldnt send her back with it! |
