| Is it Lisa who notoriously gets bad presents from her in laws? I have to say my gift this year is pretty apalling as is my oh (from his own mum!) she bought him a rock... you know one of the ones that has crystals inside... in blue. the ONE colour we told her we absolutely hate, but why a rock FFS? and me, I got a lace scarf... but I dont even know if it IS a scarf it could be a table runner... both ends look like they've just been cut with a pair of blunt scissors as the ends are very un finished and freyed. Apparently they saw them and just knew we'd love them. WTF??? so what bad presents has everyone else had? |

| My mum bought Matt driving gloves a couple of years ago and said she didn't know what to get him and he likes driving doesn't he! I got a pack of chewing gum from a boyfriend once and a candle, not a scented or pretty candle, just a normal candle! I still think Lisa's garden flag and hat wins hands down though. I still laugh when I think about it now |

| lol Lisa this thing is quite horrific... apparently its to be worn around the neck with it hanging down my back. now no offence to anyone that does wear scarves like that but it is not me... i never have or never will or have even so much as looked at one of these things so why on earth they thought I would like it is beyond me. it also has that funny older person smell to it and just looks like someones ripped it off of some other material. the flag however is the best worst present |

| I have an auntie that 'recycles' presents. This means that you get a present that someone else gave them in approx 1970. Me and my cousin once got a belt each off dresses that she had worn in the 60's and more recently my dad got a Hi Karate aftershave set that my mum swears she gave my uncle in about 1980. It has become a family joke with the rest of us now and we cant wait to see what we get. We actually started marking any present we gave to them with a red cross so we can see if they do come back! |

| last year for my birthday adams nan bought me a watch that was a bangle style, shaped like an enamel apple where you lift the apple to see the face, she said my 3 year old neice had liked it when she helped her pick!
for christmas i got a mans black metal divers watch from my supposed best oldest friend, oh and it was from argos too!
i am thinking it was a recycled gift that her husband got.
now it seems there could be a theme here, but i can assure you i am a very punctual person! |
