Someone I know has put pics of her 1 month old daughter lying in the snow. She is wearing a snow suit etc... but she is lying in the snow, noone holding her. Can't even see anyone else in the pic

if she's snuggled up in a snow suit i don't see there is anything wrong, she won't be touched by the snow i have lots of pics of things that look like no-one is there, yet every time any kind of pic(e.g. lewis crawling up the stairs) i am always there ready to catch him, just outside the shot

Hmm i don't know cause snow suits arent completely waterproof and baby can still get cold. I wouldn't have put Imogen in the snow like that. Last year we had her in snowsuit with hat scarf gloves and blanket in her car set in the snow.x

I don't see the harm in it either, she was probably put down in the snow for all of 10-20 seconds to get the pic then picked back up again anyway and I'm sure no one in their right mind would leave a newborn in a cold damp snow suit but even so snow tends to brush off mostly and the tiny amount that might dampen the fabric wouldn't have much chance of getting through padding, clothing, vest etc. It's actually something I would probably do tbh lol. I'm a nightmare for staging photos but like kenty am always within inches to catch/pick up baby after it's taken. In fact I'm gonna go throw my 6 month old in a load of snow after her nap coz she's never seen it up close before, she will probably get wet and cold and whinge a bit but I'll be there to strip her off and warm her up with a nice bottle and a cuddle I did the same with Thomas last year and he hated it, I have pics on my Facebook of him screaming his head off because of it but he didn't come to any harm, hope no one thinks I'm a bad mum for it :/ xx
