| ive forgotten where protein comes from??? all i can think of is eggs, and we haven't given elijah eggs yet...oh or chicken - where else can i get protein for elijah from? obviously he doesn't eat nuts just yet, and i can't remember what else is high in protein...hm! fish??? ideas please! |

| mmmm all i can think of is meat, eggs, pulses, grains and nuts,. apparantly gav has just kindly informed me that chicken is massive in protein -= there more in chicken than anything else! |

| lean red meat, white fish, oily fish (mackerel, salmon, tinned sardines), chicken, eggs and pulses (beans, peas and lentils). also Quorn and tofu. i knew that weaning book would come in handy |

| hahaha thanks - i think its maybe time to try a bit of chicken (non jar) and maybe some fish - our h.v said we can 'peel' a fish finger and give him the insides as finger foods cos it is usually the most bone free fish....hmmmm! fishy fingers |
