I want to buy a chest freezer but don't want to get one that's too small or too big.

What would you go for?

150L capacity? or 200L or would 100L be enough. I think 150L should be ok.

what do you have and what do you think?

we have one and i couldnt live without it. i guess it depends how much space u have for one, where u are intending to put it? we measured the space ours sits in and went for one as big as possible would fit. i have loafs, milk, cheese u name it, i bulk buy when somethings on offer. we can be sat skint one month but we always have a roast in the freezer lol!!!.. ours is 175ltr

I dont have one but most people I know who do have it in the garage, kind of like a 2nd freezer. Just if you were worried about space x

not too worried about space as with got this sort of hall that goes off to the right of the front door. so its going down there. I asked OH and he said a 175L will do us nicely.

I want to be able to cook in bulk as we get home quite late from work so just taking a meal out in the morning to defrost ready to heat up when we get home is what we want.

we thought bout one for outside but they were over out budget. the other thing we was wary of was the whole energy saving thing lol!

i find we use out normal freezer for just veggies. cause they sometimes spill out in the big freezer. annoys me. i need to get the baskets cause sometimes it does get messy if im raiding for something!

I would go for the biggest you have space for (and can afford obviously)
as no matter how big it is it will never be big enough!
