After my Grandad died she had to surrender HIS blue disabled parking badge...he was in a home for years and never needed it but SHE has ben using it all these years She is not disabled! She walks her dog twice a day so has quite a nerve to claim she needs it! Anyway after she had to send it back she had a big moan to my mum about how was she supposed to cope now without it?! Well you shouldn't have been using it in the first place seeing as it wasn't yours! I just went to the supermarket and guess what?! Her car is parked in a disabled blue badge space...with no badge of course! I wont be able to help myself...on Boxing Day I will confront her! There are people who actually need these spaces and she is just bloody selfish to use it.

If she needs one so much she'll have to get one on her own merits won't she! That's so bad as shes taking the space from someone who really needs it!

She wont get one, I know she has breast cancer , but if she can walk her dog twice a day then really she could walk across the car park!

Thats taking the piss isn't it. When my Nanna was alive, she got the badge and my Grandad was really funny about using it, even if my Nanna was in the car he'd still park in a non disabled space if there was one available. And when me&sis suggested he parked in a disabled space when my Nanna wasn't with us and we'd been driving around for ages looking for a space he was appalled at us. Funny how people can be so different about these things.

Man i hate that! They are there for genuine need. Id tell her what i thought if it was me too tbh. If they felt she warranted it she wouldnt have had to surrender it Mind you i also hate ppl who park in parent and child spaces when they blatently have no kids but thats a whole other rant

I cannot stand ppl who do that! I have seen recently at our mail office someone non-disabled park in the handicapped zone, when a very elderly man who had a blue card, had to park somewhere else and walk very far to enter the building with his walker. Now at these freezing temperatures, and icy walk ways, that is extremely dangerous for him. Luckily a lovely gentlemen assisted him to the building, and helped with the door, waited for him to collect his mail and helped him back to his car. The person who parked there was a perfectly capable 20-ish lady who was too lazy to walk the extra 8 feet! Ppl are now taking pictures of the vehicles and posting them in the name and shame section of our local blog! I think its a fantastic idea! xxx

grrrrr that really bugs me so many people that don't need it claim them...yet lily-ann who really needs the bigger spaces(is like trying to shove a stiff board into a car without hitting the next car over) gets turned down for 'not being disabled enough'

it is annoying my mum has a disabed badge and today out shopping it was impossible to get a space as loads of people had parked in the bays without a badge. I think they should be more vigilant , giving fines and clamping peeople that do it.

It really annoys me when people who don't need to park in disabled spaces, it makes me want to get out and thump them. My bro rants when people parent in parent and child spaces his kids are 8 and 4 so I think he is pushing it still parking in mother and child spaces. ARe these not designed for babies/toddlers in buggies
