| Subject: not going home for xmas Mon Dec 20, 2010 6:47 am | |
| every xmas i spend in kent with family, i have ALWAYS had xmas with some of my family and was planning to do so this year, we were supposed to be travelling down today, but lastnight my sister announced she's caught chicken pox(my nieve has just got over them) so i can't go because lily-ann's immune system is still low from being ill this last week...so she's most likely to catch them...with xmas and the wedding just after i can't afford for either to catch them i haven't got a tree up, no food in for over xmas, no way to get presents to my family with the postal delays, and the biggest downer of all, i've never spent an xmas without my family, they're all getting together on xmas eve and i'll be the only one not there oh and on top of that, we have no water at our place cos all our pipes have frozen :S |

| Ahh no hun, but look on bright side you can have a nice 'family' crimbo with just you guys youll be able to make it special, get a tree up asap that will put you in crimbo mode (it did us yest), I bet its going to be weird not spending it with your fam after being used to it, but you can all get together in the new year and have a 2nd crimbo day (saves sending all pressies out) thats pretty cool Crappy about your pipes, ive never had that happen so no idea what to say xx |

| we were going to leave early this morning and figured it'd take quite awhile but totally doable i don't want to do xmas as just the four of us, it feels just like any other day then, nothing really special |

| Hun, can you not take advise from your gp, tbh all my kids have had chicken pox and they are not ill with them they are just spotty and contagious.. She is obv at high risk of getting them, but generally once you've had them its done and dusted.. You rarely get them twice (some do i know ). When do you get married? You obviously would prefer not to have spotty kids in your pics Hope you get your pipes sorted xxx |

| Aww Kenty hun.
We go to oh's side of the family and are usually home within a few hours and then its just like another day. Him on the puter playing a game, me watching tv. I can't wait to have a little one so christmas will start to feel special again. Try and make christmas just the 4 of you as special as you can hun. I like the idea of a 2nd crimbo day when all the pox has gone that will be something to look forward to xxx |
