ava's fell when she was pulling herself up on her highchair, she hit her cheekbone on the bottom and its come up black and blue straight away, she was a bit hysterical but i've calmed her and giving her some ibuprofen, is there any need to get her checked over?

I would say to trust your instict, but Aimee is always hurting herself one way or another and I have only ever taken her to A&E once (she wriggled off the bed at 5.5 months old and landed on her head). Personally, I would just keep an eye on it. x

I agree with the others, go with your instincts. Maybe see how she is over the next hour and if it becomes really swollen get her checked x

Mia did that and had a bruise for a good few days. Make sure she's alert and moving around ok. Don't let her fall asleep for an hour. If she's like normal she's more than likely fine. If you're really worried get her checked out. Hope she's ok. Dee x

thanks girls, we've been out for a walk and she seems fine, the redness has gone so the bruise doesn't look as bad, think i had a panic moment, plenty more to come i'm sure.
