My brother and family live abroad and we haven't seen them since June. I've been so excited about them coming home for christmas and have been counting down the days with Stephen till they come home. Anyway they arrived on Saturday morning, I knew they'd be tired so left them to it for the day but I still haven't heard from them Both my brother and SIL have gone on nights out with their friends. My other brother was due to travel up from the other end of the country for christmas today but is now stuck with this silly weather and can't come. Anyway we were all going to meet up at my parents today but because my brother can't come up my other brother isn't bothering now. My dad keeps telling him that I'm desperate to see them and so he said he'd come down tomorrow but they've since had a better offer They've even given my parents a timetable of who they are visiting when whilst they are here because they are staying between parents and in-laws. My other brother is on it as are all their friends but I'm not mentioned. When my brother left in June he was in tears because he was leaving Stephen having only just met him but now he isn't bothered! My dad is now pestering him to just ring me and say hello but I don't want him to be forced into it! I'm feeling sorry for myself today Sorry rant over! xx

Awwwww hun - I can see why you would be feeling hurt. How insensitive of your brother!!

Can you not speak to him direct and tell him how you feel?? Rather than bottling it up and feeling upset over it??

He's being very selfish, sometimes we take for granted the people we love the most so maybe that's what he's doing, maybe send him a text just saying that you're upset that he's not been in touch and let him take it from there x

I sent him a text earlier on saying that I was free all week and would really like to see them but I haven't heard anything yet. My dad told me he was going to make him come and see me if he didn't ring me by tonight but that's not exactly the point is it! I've just spoken to my other brother who says he will definitely be up to see us next week whatever the weather so that makes me feel a bit better at least! xx

Oh my god I'm so annoyed! He just rang my mum and she said 'have you spoken to your sister yet?' and he said 'yeh I'm just been speaking to her and arranged to see her on Thursday'! Errrm hello, are you going to actually speak to me! I've still not heard from him, and haven't arranged anything! Grrrrrr
