| I use the fat and juices of the meat. Mix some flour in until it's a paste (no lumps) and then add an oxo (or three) and the water from the veggies or boiled water. It's lovely! But I use bisto for teas in the week so I might try the sage an onion suggestion |

| I make proper gravy if we have a chicken or beef etc that has juice to make the gravy - just add an oxo to the juice (after taking the fat off) then use cornflour to thicken and add veggie water to get how much you need. Roast beef and chicken makes the best gravy!
Sausages and stuff we use normal bisto, sometimes I add some herbs |

| Old fashioned way..use the drippings from the meat and put them in a sauce pan..drop in one oxo cube and bring to a low boil. I mix corn starch and cold water and pour it in and simmer to perfect consistency. If I need to add more water..I use the boiled potato water which has a natural starch in it. Then I season it with salt or pepper if needed. xxx |
