| While ive mentioned him on another thread does it seem odd to you ive bought c an xmas present from the hoover Shes been terrified of our hoover as long as i can recall, we have tried alsorts. Hes called Noo Noo and we have explained noo noo cleans the floor by eating the crumbs she has dropped and he says num num num and eats them up which she thinks is funny but still shakes when he is switched on I have to either hold her in one arm and hoover or have someone else hold her while i do it or put her on sofa and have her bawl her eyes out while im doing it Even while we were in asda yesterday everytime an asda ace walked past with their aisle cleaners she was shouting 'mummy noo noo' and grabbing me. She settled a bit when we explained he was doing his shopping too and would be asleep by the time we got home So we have bought her a wee dyson for xmas from Noo Noo to see if it helps, seems mental to me but hoping it might work as we finally got her to point of saying Nice Noo Noo yesterday after he ate his dinner off the floor and went to bed but she still wont go near him Any other hoover phobics out there or is my kid just insane? |

| All my kids were scared of the vacuum cleaner at C's age! It's because it's loud and seems to "chase" them. But..I have to shamefully admit..that I would tease them with it..I would vacuum close to where they were parked! xxx |

| Thomas was terrified until we got Hetty and now he loves her . He asks me to hoover about 6 times a day and anytime we go anywhere or he goes to bed he says "tata etty" . She has a big friendly smiley face which I think helps. We have got him a mini Henry for christmas "Etty" now has a friend xx |

Bless him don't think he'll ever be a gardener I think noo noo getting her a baby noo noo is a fab idea - fingers crossed |

| Lottie still hates our hoover, though it doesn't freak her out as much now (she used to be hystericalwhen I used it). I didn't tease her with it as such, however, I have been known to use to it my advantage, ie 'Lottie pick up all your toys or i'll just hoover them up' |

| Great idea, I'm sure c will love it and may even start to like the noonoo.
Ellie loves it and takes it off me so that she can do it. She has her own but prefers mine. |

| Wil does all the hoovering in our house. As for mini Henry he just doesn't cut it compared to the big old Vax that plugs into the wall and really gets the muck up
