I am just ordering some bits from Cath Kidston... i have gone for a gorgous oilcloth for the table and looking at fabrics, would you go for the same pattern for seat cushions, or go for something plain??

Will probably go for plain kitchen blinds at least, as don't want it to be too overpowering.

Your views would be appreciated!!

Thanks x x x

Fran, for me in my house I'd go for a patterned tablecloth and plain seat covers. Are you making your own blinds?

With all your talk about soft furnishing etc is getting me feeling all creative and even considering buying a sewing machine. Can't wait to see of your products! Smile

Thanks Pen, as it turned out there wasn't the matching fabric for the seat covers anyway. I ordered a plain but textured fabric in a coordinating colour... had a quick tutorial from mil yesterday, and been doing a few little bits and pieces, but not very good yet! I will make my blinds eventually, got a few courses in January so hopefully that will give me the confidence.

Will post some piccies once i have made something to be proud of. I am feeling very impatient though!!

Go for it Pen, get a sewing machine, i am really chuffed with mine x x x
