it is your own choice what you add ,,, to be honest 95 % of ppl have an evening buffet for guests so its assumed and its very rare you get someone turn up in jeans and tshirt lol !

I wouldn't put a dress code unless you are having some specific theme (coloyr/fancy dress etc) and I also wouldn't put anything about food, I think most people assume there will be some sort of buffet/nibbles/pie and peas etc.
