| How far do all of your toddlers walk? C didnt walk til nearly 18 months so i do sometimes forget shes only been walking just under 3 months but shes a devil cos if she can get away with 'harries' she will. Been trying to get her to walk further but keep getting wrong footed by well meaning family members who pick her up which causes me probs when its just me and her and my back and hips cant take it Well we took her to the park to feed ducks today and she did 500m/one third of a mile roughly. Dunno how that is compared to everyone elses little ones but was very proud of her and she was very tired by the time she was done as she ran a good chunk of it playing with me and daddy too so am treating her to a lil chochoc when she wakes up from nap for being a big girl |

| Wil does about a mile before he is knackered on a good day but Wil is Wil and he gets dragged on dog walks with no other forms of transport. 1/3 of a mile after just 3 months is amazing. |

| Thats brilliant. My LO was the same, even just nipping to the shop over the road he'd want picking up soon after leaving the garden you'd think they'd want the fredom?! Its only been recently (since the bad weather) that i've been encouraging him to walk more. As we haven't seen many of our mummy friends over the hols we've just been going for local walks and he did me proud when he walked onto the shops and back the other day which is probably about the same distance as C's done today. And by'heck did he sleep that aft lol Last night OH took him over the road to the corner shop and I said "if he wants carrying try and distract him with something and encourage him to walk" but did he..No! he got outside the garden and LO wanted carrying and daddy gave in Today though Oliver took me for a walk and he was walking all over lol, running off down streets and snickets..He does love the independence now though |

| Well done C - going great guns!
Amelia is quite a determined walker and we have been going out without the pram for quite some time. She frequently walks about a mile but at the end of the summer I took her to Chester zoo and she walked without being picked up for a couple of hours. She'd easily covered over 2 miles I'd say. She doesn't seem to tire easily though but likes to be carried as she's become quite cuddly x |

| ha ha have you met my son!!!
Rowan walks 2 miles Mon-Wed each day from nursery to the train station and he's still ready to do more.
He's not been using his buggy for about 8 months and walks every where. He walked the whole of guild high street and it's 3 centres last week.
He's just a ball of energy |

| Izzy just goes and goes..like a Duracell battery! She has never asked to be picked up lol I tend to pick her up though when she is wondering in the wrong directions The longest I know she has done was about 2 miles as she went twice round the park with MIL...saying that she did sleep for about 4 hours that faternoon |
