it amazes me that these jobs that are frowned upon by some are actually sometimes better payers than the jobs of those snobby frowners ! |

| I know, its madness!
I worked bloody hard to get £18k salary around here (experience based not qualification based as I didn't go to uni) ...thats quite good here even if its pants elsewhere lol ...
So I am gobsmacked that I can earn more doing a job where I dont even use my brain...spend 20 minutes every 2 hours minutes drinking coffee and chatting with the customers!
I got £35 cash xmas gifts & a £25 spa voucher and I only have 3 people I clean for! I've worked for companies who don't even pay a xmas bonus! In fact iNet only paid a bonus last year (hadn't for years) and I was lucky to get it even though was on Mat leave lol |

| Aww Lisa that's great news!
We don't get a Christmas bonus but fingers crossed I'll get an associate bonus in March, but tbh there is only a slim chance of that as we're a bit off our targets. I got a good performance review just before xmas but won't get a raise as I'm priced out. Boo hiss! |

| Excellent !!!! I dont understand people who look down at cleaners/bin men etc. It's a bloody job at the end of the day and it pays the bills. I know my bin men are really happy in their job because they are always singing You can hear them coming down the street !! |

| haha I wouldn't want to be a bin man (woman) cos its frikin cold and early mornings! hehehee
I never looked down at cleaners in the office, was always friendly, but there were some people there that did think they were 'better' and would ignore them, not move so they could vacuum under their desk etc...so rude!
I thought I'd hate cleaning cos its a bit... um... well I need a job to challenge me mentally! or I did before Izzy...now I honestly couldn't care less about what I do so long as it pays, and the fact I get paid more than at iNet is even better! |

| That is brilliant. I don't plan on going back to my job after mat leave (at the min) and would really consider cleaning if it meant bringing in a few extra pennies.

| Thats great. I used to do cleaning before I had Imogen and although people were always a bit snobby about it, I loved it. I made good friends with the girl I worked with, we had loads of fun and spent the hours chatting. When she left I used to just have my ipod on, dance around as I was cleaning it was great. |

BTW what happened with the old bint with your wrist I told the company I wasn't clenaing for her anymore! I don't like ungrateful people and I had been doing her big favours as it was, and for the sake of 2 hours work a week I didn't need the hassle from her! you are right, im much happier doing this! x |
