i'm supposed to be in court today, think it's a benefit fraud case against an ex employee, but when i turned up they told me it was cancelled
my OH's mum had already taken Arwyn away for the day so she's just keeping her til later. my OH was meant to be at work today but he's now in bed sick so i don't know what to do with myself!!
i've already wandered around town, been to tesco and asda and now watching tv. there's plenty i could be doing round the flat...... but i just want my baby back

i'm tempted to drive down and pick her up even though i'm always moaning that i'd love a day off!!

i feel the same when Rowan is not here. I took 2 days off in December but still took Rowan to nursery. I was bored and lost by 10am.

Makes you wonder what the hell you were doing before them

I think i am evil mummy as i would be enjoying the rest having a nice long bath with my book or sat on the sofa watching a film or reading a book!! x

I bet when Arwyn is Lily's age I'll be saying that!
the stuff I want to be getting on with I really need OH's help but with him in bed with man flu I can't i'm going to give it another hour and go get her

I'm with Lisa and Kate... I would probably feel lost but would be making the most of it. I would be in bed sleeping x

sleep would be nice but i'd want a full night, not just a cat nap! plus man flu is in bed so i'd rather not

oh yeah totally!!! and even if i had her now i'd be moaning that i'm never away from her!

im also a mean mummy its so nice having a baby free day or two just to relax watch crap on telly and have a long hot soak in the bath ahhh peace

I dont think ive ever had a baby free day I want one!!
Theres so much i need to do that would be 20million times easier to do with out a loony toddler trashing the place!

I've never had a baby free day either, max i've had is about 2-3hrs
Don't get me wrong, I love my little fella loads and always miss him when he's away but I love that free time just to do nothingness

I have never had one either. I probably wont get one tbh as Aimee has her meds 3 times a day so it kind of restricts things.

She is going to my MIL's again on Wednesday mornings though (she used to go when I was working) so that frees up a bit of 'toddler' time from me so I can clean the house (in the hope that Lily sleeps).

im an evil evil mummy lol i cant wait to get me time ive had quite a few days/nights away from benjamin, he stays with grandma (my mum) and i think thats why i dont mind!! i know he'll be looked after really well if it was anybody else i'd be worried all day and not be able to get anything done...me time rocks
