can somewhere like butlins refuse to take lily-ann in the nursery because she is disabled????

i wouldnt have thought so - thats discrimination. What concerns you about takin Lilly Anne to butlins??

we're needing a lil mini holiday and i can't imagine they'd allow her to be in the nursery because she's need special 1 on 1 care

i don't want to dump her off but we need a lil 'us' time too :?

why dont you go on their website and have a look at their "disclaimers" or "terms". I can understand what you're saying though because of Health & Safety reasons and also like you said you dont want to be leaving her with an adolescent trainee lol

It would be pretty mean, but I can see where your coming from. You wouldn't be happy leaving her somewhere she wouldn't get the type of attention she really needs anyway.

It might be a difficult one hun, because they would obviously need to know everything about her so they couldcater for her properly. But it is agaisnt the law for them to discriminate her for her disability.

hey hun, qhen I worked in a kids club abroad, we use to take disabled children as long as we had the staff to do so, as some needed 1 to 1 care. I would ring up and ask and if you book in advance your holiday they might get the staff in for her.... that how we use to do it.
