I had a short labour on record it was 40 mins
Marc was on nights so phoned him at 3am he got home at 3:10 by the time i got to the Central Delivery Suite it was 03:30 when i was waiting for them to answer the buzzer i had a massive contraction where i couldnt help but push and bang my waters went every where outside in the corridore ( i ran down the corridore shouting its in my show its in my shoe lol , they got the bed lowered and i ripped my clothes off as fast as i could as they were soaked and she told me that she was going to examine me but as i wasnt contracting regular i wouldnt be anywhere near pushing she had a look and she said right this baby is coming now I can see the head so push i was offered gas and air which i refused just wanted the mouth piece to bite down on and after about 9 pushes and at 03:39 gracie mae was born weighing 6lbs 7oz and i done the whole labour with NO PAIN RELIEF WHATSO EVER - i am proud of myself for that as i am the world biggest wimp i cry if i fall over
And just to add no tears, stitches just a graze and i was back home haveing brekfast with hubby by 8am
the first thing i asked was - Did i poo? lol she said no and then said do you want to double check its a girl ops i was more worried about pooping than embarresing myself
