Omg Im so sorry really wasnt expecting you to say that. The best thing you can do is keep things as simple as possible when you tell Jaiden. Say that the cat was not feeling very well and went to sleep and is now in heaven and playing with all the other cats.

Oh hunny I'm so sorry, my poor puss died just before Christmas and we were all heart broken. Thing is, kids usually react better than adults.

Our cat Annie had to be put down after suffering from Renal (kidney) failure. I told MJ that she had to go to heaven to be with Jesus with all her other cat friends. Annie was nearly 17. How old was your cat?

Our farm cat had tomours, she was really fit and healthy and then suddenly couldnt eat and she had to be put down...its awful to think they have been in pain, but at least she isnt now!

Awww I'm so sorry hun, MJ was about 3 when Annie passed onto the next life too. She seemed ok with it. Pets are members of the family too xxxxxxxxxxxx

I have told him that she was so poorly these is no medicine that can make her better and the vet will make her go 2 sleep 4 ever and ever and she will turn in2 a bright shiny kizzie star in the sky. So when daddy came home he wanted daddy 2 take him out 2 c the kizzie star and thankfully there was just 1 really bright star and that's now the kizzie star. I hope I done ok
