It would appear that some scum bag has been stealing our dry logs from the garage

We had a massive load delivered last winter but they were freshly cut so needed to dry.... so are now nice and dry after being in the garage (its an open fronted one, not with a door) for a year...and we have only had 3 fires so far this winter and the logs have nearly gone.

The dogs have started ruffing in the night a few times lately and Im starting to think they probably nicked them then.

Nothing is safe these days!

It means that even if we get 2 more fires out of the pile (which it might just about) then its cost us £30 per fire!

Hey hey hey...watch the the beaver smack talk! Some of us are sensitive beavers! Lisa..ppl will steal anything that isn't nailed down and firewood is prime pickings! Theives up here steal it too because it costs 300 dollars for 1/2 cord chopped and delivered..or hours of hard work getting it ourselves. My parents cabin was cleaned out of 3 cords of wood last summer, but we sorta know who did it. our back yard is over looked by a few houses...so I reckon its one of them...unless its just someone randomly searching where they see chimney smoke!
