I've got mine in the morning and I've been told that I cant have anything but water from 10pm tonight, but I've been thinking about Gaviscon/Rennies, can I still have them??

If I cant then I'll be suffering in bed tonight!!!

I was told I could take a tablet with a sip of water in the morning but am not sure about gaviscon/rennies! Sorry cant help more hun! I hope it all goes ok tomorrow

Ah thanks Maxi, I didn't have anything in the end (and boy did I suffer!!!). At least it's all done and dusted now - just got to wait for the results xxx

Well I had it last Tuesday (11th Jan) and finally got the results by post this morning

It says I'm within normal range which is great (and very expected but they insisted I had it done) but I'm a bit confused as they've put that my reading after fasting was 5.3 and then 2 hours after the glucose drink was 4.3, I know it's irrelevant now but surely it should be higher AFTER the drink???

That is great news Suse...no..the numbers are perfect..means your pancreas is doing it's job very well! Producing insulin when needed to keep your glucose levels down. xxx
