twice is just stupid

After a lovely day out at the Northampton meet I arrive home to OH welcoming us by announcing 'I am a prat' (no news there)

And today's stupidity...he has put a nail in the wall to hang a picture and gone through a pipe for the second time in 12 months
despite having a little machine for checking for pipes and wires

so the water is off, the heating is off and I am sitting in my office with my coat on and my lovely oil fired radiator on full blast.

(fortunately the nice home emergency people will be here by 7 to mend it )

maybe you need to get someone in next time, could be cheaper ad less hassle

Gill, I think you need to be a bit more responsible in future!!

Fancy, going out (for more than a few minutes) and leaving him home alone with easy access to tools etc!

Ok! I admit! I do leave oh alone but I always make sure the house is safe and the shed keys are safely in my handbag! And for ling periods of time I ask my mum or sis to call in and check on him.

I honestly beleive that mwn should a licence for hammers, nails, drills etc!
