| Stephen has had a sickness bug for the last few days, he seems ok in himself, just a little more tired. He has been having 3 bottles a day and sips of water but he can't keep any food down still. He is still being sick and having runny nappies but not that much now. My mum is also worried that he might be anaemic because he's so pale (he's always pale, that's a long term thing). Should I take him to the doctors? Just because last time I took him to the doctors with a sickness bug they laughed me out the door as a neurotic mother! |

| awww bless him. I think as long as he's drinking fluids and its coming out the other end he should be fine. There's not alot docs will do for a bug. It just has to work its way out. I fhe stops taking fluids or gets a temperature, then I would see the doc - hope he's better soon xx |

| I agree with Leah - they wont do anything for a bug when he is still taking milk.
About the anaemia though - maybe in a few days when he is feeling better you could take him ans ask what they think, maybe do a blood test...or just increase his foods that have iron in when he is back to eating food. |

| Grandparents dont half like to make us feel inadequate sometimes!
My MIL said I should be giving Izzy a course of Anti Bs because she has fallen and her lip was badly cut by the tooth...I felt bad for all of about half an hour and then thought WTF why give them when there is no infection! Her lip was better in a few days and never went bad! |
