| Hubby and I got married in a church and our Reverend left out the "obey" bit and changed it to something else, he was a very old man but he knew "obey your husband" was old fashioned. He was cool though bless him. |

| Ive seen that before and thought it was absolutely hilarious ...but I dont know if it were true then?! My mum was born in 1954, so this article would have related to my auntie who was a bit older...and thats not how they were taught at all as far as I can tell from how they are - people a bit older than my mum aren't prudish like that Im sure?! me thinks this relates to a much earlier period?  |
