Cerys is getting bored of a few of her toys and was wondering what toys you ladies can suggest. She is 17 months and needs more stimulating type toys. Something that can keep her thinking etc. Any suggestions? Thanks x

aqua draw has been a HUGE hit with us.

Callums into things that move at the moment like a train and loves cars that goes along by itself when pushed i know theyre not very girly xx

Tay just loves her babies the most of of anything!

Sophie (16 months) loves cars, ride ons, pushchair and her baby (thats her fave!!) happy land sets are her second fave, we have the windmill cottage one and the goosefeather farm with the quad bike and the roaming caravan, noah's ark, wooden blocks are always a massive hit!

Also aquadraw is a hit here. Top of the pops overall are books, preferably ones with pop up bit or doors to open etc, followed by the play house and kitchen and the Happyland stuff from ELC xx

tv, xbox, remote...basically anything that he's not supposed to touch

he loves leo's toy laptop, he loves anything he can empty and fill again, he will do that for ages...usually from one toy box to another and back again. hes got a dinosaur that 'walks' round and plays a tune that he loves and balls he will play with a ball for ages x

ha ha gemz, Cerys is the same. She wants ANYTHING that we use x

Same as gemz, anything we have sophia loves! Her fav at the mo is a sort and learn vtech bus and a toy hoover from elc (but she gets frightened when it turns on sometimes, poor ickle minchkin!) and we tried painting on Wednesday and that was a real hit, though only a five to ten minute activity! She also loves her shopping basket (and any bag or basket in general actually) with her plastic fruit and veg, taking lots of time to fill up and empty her basket - usually over the middle of the kitchen floor! She also likes her talking learning book (think from sainsbury or tesco) has each letter of the alphabet and says the letter and name of object and the sound of object and for older kids has questions to answer to find letters and sounds.

Other than that, good old fashioned books, particularly ones that have a good rhythm, noises or flaps.

cheers Mandy, got loads of books. I like the idea of the shopping basket and plastic shopping stuff. Cerys loves to play with those big asda/tesco bag for life thingys so she will love playing with a basket and fruit/veg. have ordered an aquadraw too x

She is always pushing them arpound trying to go brmmm brmmm beep beep!
She also loves her shopping trolley x

Wil isn't particularly into toys he prefers to play with random household stuff like a roll of duck tape.

He does like his shopping trolley and dolls pram though and would spend hours chasing the dogs with them if we didn't stop him because the dogs are traumatised.

He also loves balls, cars and lorries (he really is a boy )

evan isnt big on toys yet he likes to play with them all but gets bored really easy with them the only toy he plays with 24/7 is his singing/dancing handy manny tool box and tools, he loves it
he does play with his cars, his aqua draw, he has these planes that he plays with but only for 10 min at a time then they get chucked to the side
he is gettin more interested in his building blocks aswell
but he is still more interested in what he shudnt have rather than toys

yeh Cerys is like that, she will flit from one thing to another. Cant wait for the aquadraw to arrive x
