ooo stingy stingy.. i had this.. i used to use a fruit shoot bottle n spray it at me when i went for a pee.. also after my stitches fell out n came a part n got infected i used to psray some salviion on some tissue and give it a little wipe!

Mine stung for a good 7 - 10 days ouchiee x

You could also try a bit of arnica you can get that in a cream and in tablets. Its supposed to help the healing process.

Thanks all, had (nice) midwife check for me and she's happy so that's made me feel better - plus confirmed poppycock about mw present or not making no difference - doesn't doesn't take the pain away but at least reassures me that it's within the realm of "normal" and will subside. Fyi it's right at the bottom of ma bits, no where near where peeing from, but as it's a downward tear it's got to heal from the base upwards nice eh. I guess it's like pulling your earlobe off then standing on your head ... ah you've gotta laugh 'cos it still bloomin stings.

In the meantime swab taken to double check not infected and am trying all sorts of gymnastics when peeing (within what my aching bones will allow) and some cooling / tlc of the area without trying to disturb things too much.

I realise it's not very exciting and probably tmi (am waaaayy past that point I think ) but wanted to update just as you'd been so kind as to share and try to help with ideas; it's appreciated lovelies. xx
