| Don't worry hun. He will get over it. I think it is good to leave the little monkeys once in a while so they get used to you being away. Will be good when they are older and go to sleep overs, school camp etc if they have been away from you at night sometimes.
Wil is fine with me when either of us goes away. He is at Nanny and Grandad's this week. |

| Probably not what you want to hear but when i got back off holiday Alfie totally ignored me too. I expected a huge smile and cuddles when i got back but he wouldn't even make eye contact at all. I got back at 5pm and he spent the next 2 hours playing with my parents instead of me :'( i was devastated but he made up for it at 5am in the morning when he saw i was in bed next to him when he started shreiking and giggling and holding his arms out for me! So i guess what i'm trying to say is even if he does do that when you're back, it won't last long at all! Like Gil said it's good for them to get used to having time away. You don't want them to be the boys that start crying on school trips cause they miss their mum too much (well, maybe you do lol ) |

| It sounds weird but he could be a wee bit insecure bearing in Mind his dad just 'left' him - may have thought mum gad gone too! Prepare him for it, show him where your going and that mummy loves you and will be back on this day at this time ( ie 2 sleeps and when you've had lunch I'll be home ) And like the girls said pressies and sweets hit the spot everytime xx |

| ^^ i dunno tbh hun, he sees's his dad just as much tbh, his dad brings them home whilst im at work, then leaves when i get in and kids are in bed anyway, the only difference is he isnt there in the morning, but oliver usually slept in well after his dad had gone anyway(lucky for some eh ) so dunno if he has even noticed much, obvs leo is a different story as he was always up when his dad left for work yeah i will be preparing them, havent actually told leo im going yet, i hope he will be ok cos i remember having arse on with my mum when she went away for a week when my sister was born(obvs as a kids i didnt understand she had pnd and wasnt well at all) ohh got on a bit of a ramble there x |

| Sometimes Lily can be a bit grumpy with us if she hasnt seen us but normally she is really happy to see us. I think sometimes if they are out of their normal routine they get a bit mardy. You will have a great time xx |

| Drew ignored me for about an hour when I got back from my long weekend away, he would not cuddle me, gave me the pouted lip and just wanted dad but after me talking to him and giving him his prezzies he's warmed back to me. I think it was maybe cuz I didn't smell like mummy I smelt like someone elses house and someone elses perfume (I forgot mine so used my friends) but I sang him the song I've sung to him since he was born and something seemed to click. Everything is fine now. I think it is just a weird baby thing.
Give him an hour and some prezzies he'll be fine again xxxxxxx |
