Izzy wouldnt go to sleep tonight - she has been a little tinker keeps getting out of bed!

So I went up after about a million times and being calm or quite hadn't worked so I raised my voise, not shouted but ya know the I mean business voice...and she did the downward mouth and nearly cried OMG the guilt I felt so bad that when she got out again I said 'you go' to Dan, and said make sure you are firm

Anyway he didnt even raise his voice but she must have thought Daddy going up means business cos she did eventually go to sleep after a bit of crying

That was quite a while ago and I hadnt heard a peep through the monitor so went to check and her door was wide open so she had been out of bed again...but she was tucked up in her bed

if daddy goes in this house, alasdairs picked up took down stairs, alowed to choose a drink, bum changed for good measure... more faffing around and put back to bed, sometimes tv put on... well thats if daddy does it!!!!! daddy isnt allowed any more. little monkey knows how to play him

kids are kinda like german shepherds - 1 voice, 1 master

Have to agree with Laura on that last bit lol. If Daddy goes to C she gets cuddles and kisses and chatted to and played with and all til shes WIDE awake. If i go in she gets 1 kiss, tucked in, told BED and walk out. Shes generally a thousand times less likely to faff around for me

We have the same problem with Daddy in this house... Daddy going up means cuddles and chat.

Mummy going up means business.

Oh dear I am dreading when H goes in a bed. My oh is quite firm as well it's one visit to check they are ok then leave them to it x
