Is anyone else's internet playing up or do I just need to de cookie ma bobber my laptop?

Pages are taking ages to load/refresh and videos are nearly impossible to watch. I was thinking it may be the wind but my internet is cable/virgin media so I dont know if wind would make a difference....

Mine is sometimes so slow it drives me crazy! I have no patience with it and am swearing the stupid thing when its slow!

funny you should say that , my net went down twice yesterday and last nght took an age to load ,,
just noticed someone on facebook querying if his net probs are weather related and a few ppl have commented thinking the same bout theirs

Im getting 7.8mb, thats on talktalk...when we were with BT we hardly got 2mb even though we had the most expensive package!

Omg its running at 176kbps! Im supposed to have 10mb. It must be the weather then surely!

Thats 6.4mb, depends what you are paying for.

Mine should be 10mb and iv ran one of those speedchecks before and got 9. something so i was happy enough. Cant believe how poo mine is tonight. Im surprised its working at all.

Doesn't matter what you are paying for - the small print will say UPTO - so you may never get what you pay for!!!

Ours is UPTO 24mb...but we would never get that here!

Country wide the average I believe is around 7mb

Just checked again and download is 144kbps and upload is 747kbps.

Im guessing it doesnt matter that its in a second window when i check? It must be the wind? Or a fallen tree? But surely with cable that would make damn all difference?

I think the wind can make it bad, maybe there is a loose connection or something? If its no better when the weather is calm you should report it incase its damaged
