So my tickers tells me I'm nearly 18 weeks pregnant (when the heck did that happen??) but I haven't really felt any noticeable movements yet. I'm sure I was feeling a lot around this stage with Milo I've felt a few very gentle pops, and a bit of very faint squirming, but if you've seen my tummy pains post you'll know I was packed full of gas so it could have just been that. There's not been a lot where I can say, oh that's definitely bubs. I've heard you generally feel things earlier with baby no. 2 but have you found that's true? Do you reckon I should be feeling things yet?

Which ways your placenta laying? could be to do with that - ie; if its posteria (sp) you'll feel little movement early on and anteria (sp) its laying at the front so acting like a 'shock absorber'. Give it another few weeks and i'm sure either way you'll be feeling bub's..but I really wouldn't worry

Susan, I actually did feel a bit guilty writing that, having read your post the other day! It's good to know it's not a bad thing then, phew! Hope he's being a wee bit kinder to you today! Zee, hmm, I'm not sure actually.. thinking about it, at my 3d scan a couple of weeks ago, baby's face was half hidden behind the placenta, which means my placenta is more to the front? Yay again for banda medical geniuses!

He's still kicking the hell out of me!!! My placenta is anterior too and I think thats why it took a long time to feel 'big' kicks, like Zee says give it a few more weeks and you'll be moaning like me xxx
