Advice regarding Babies Movements... _
PostSubject: Advice regarding Babies Movements...   Advice regarding Babies Movements... EmptyTue Mar 22, 2011 4:29 am

Up until the last two days other than the few times before that I had posted about previously Lissie Bou has always moved around 50-60 times a day.

Now the MW's here always say as long as they move 10 times a day then thats fine and the last two days she has just done around 10-15 movements.

I have been at work all afternoon, so have just had chance to ring the hospital (who we are told to ring if we have any concerns out of hours) and the MW basically said that as long as she has moved 10 times or more then thats fine as she will have less space now.

Now I know obviously she has less space now, but surely she can't have significantly less space today than what she had on Saturday??

I don't know, I just don't feel happy with what she said....so what would you do?? Would you ring back and speak to another MW for a 2nd opinion or would you wait until tomorrow and see what happens?? xx

i agree with pinky - although its also possible that she has moved more but you haven't felt it while you were at work? also i seem to remember elijah stopped kicking really when he was well into the 30 weekses (erm? thats a word), and was doing a lot more wriggling. hope you feel better soon Smile

I always thought that if they were moing then it's ok and you shouldn't worry but if you ARE worried then go down there or ring up again. At the end of the day if your not happy and are stressed/worried then baby isn't happy either x

Im sure everything is fine though Smile

I found Chloe didn't really kick but wriggled in the later stages(looking for more space)....as long as you can feel her you should be ok but if you are really not happy get yourself checked....put your mind at ease

xx

To quote my count the kicks band, 'If your worried at all make the call' Laughing

If she has decreased significantly I'd go into be checked, it's better to pop up and be monitored than worry all evening x
