that a tv program is ending?

For months Caitlin has been waving at the tv and saying bye about 1-2 mins before certain shows end. I can understand Mr Tumble and show me show me that follow the same pattern each day... but just now she was watching dora (which she has only seen cpl times in her life and not for months), and she stood up and started saying 'bye, bye, bye'. I didnt even twig it was ending, dora had just asked what they had learned today and Caitlin was on her feet... 2min later its over. How the heck does she know ???

Well I wish she would hurry up & get bored of bob the builder's big fish fecking cardboard box song. I watch it occassionally on youtube with her and stupidly decided to put it ondemand on tv (pandering to a sick child lol) and I must have watched it about 30 times since lunch. All iv heard is Boooobbbbbb. Yayyyy!

rich does this and he then changes the channel to something else because its boring, with 30 seconds to go until the end...

but i want to know is as they get older why do they need your attention for that one thing they could have asked at anypoint during the day, just at the most damatic part of your show, the amount of times i've had to pause the tv on a death, or a romance or the outing of the killer in a mystery is ridiculous lol
