well last valentines day i was rushed into hosptial with suspected eptopic, but turned out i had soft tissue damage in my hips and groin, after a fall at work....the previous week. dont ask long story.
well the weekend i started to have some pain in my groin, but was ok when i rested so thoguht it was just part of the parcel of spd.
then yesterday morning i went to work feeling good, and sat down and the pain started right between my legs with pain shooting upwards and bubs was not moving.
rang mw who didnt answer and no facility to leave message, so i rang maternity tiage for advice, they heard what i had to say and told me i needed to come in for assessment.
gave me a number of the ward and they said no go to gp
went home from work and tried to sleep but couldnt pain was getting worse and i could hardly walk
went to gp at 5pm, he called maternity and said
"i have a lady 27weeks in early labour" (PANIC)
russ took me to hosp.
i was on machine watching for contractions and bubs heartbeat for an hour, and all was ok, well except bubs decided that mom needed a good kicking and went into overdrive on movements
they diagnosed spd, my pubic bone is very painful and that was the pain, my whole pelvis area is swollen.
so after 2 and half hours i got sent home, with orders to rest, i have consultant anyway on thursday so i'm to go then
i've called in sick till i know what consultant says, but i'm asking to be signed off till maternity starts, i just cant walk anymore
i got my card off russ, but he was in such a panic he forgot my flowers, but hearing bubs heartbeat for an hour was a good valentines present for both of us.
f*ing gp, made me worse and bp was high but soon came down when i could hear bubs.
next year we staying in bed for valentines day lol
