| What are your plans? What are you getting oh? I suggested Luke, Tayla and I have a day out in London, go on the London eye or Madam tussauds or something but he said he has to give two weeks notice at work for a days holiday grr! (suppose we could do it a bit late lol) I really dont fancy going for a meal or cinema! |

| We are doing nothing for Valentines Day...I could go on to say that I hate doing that sort of thing and confirming to societies views. I could also say that I don't need a certain day for me to tell/show my OH that I love him, and that companies charge extortionate amounts for things and while people pay it they will continue to do it blah blah, but actually my OH is boring and we NEVER do anything for Valentines!!!!! I think I have had one bunch of flowers for valentines in the 11yrs we have been together!! x |

| We deliberately ignore valentine's day because it is full of commercial crap.
Restaurant prices are higher for worse quality flowers are suddenly twice the price as they were the day before or the day after
We don't need to be told which day to show our love.
If you really want to do something on the day how about cook a nice meal for after Tayla has gone to bed.
You could always have a day out on Sat or Sunday. |

| We never do anything for Valentines, it is just another Government scam to get more money out of the fools who buy into it. Hubby and I buy each other a little token gift but we do that all year round. We know we love each other every other day of the year and make extra special efforts on our anniversary (like a meal out to the pub or something) hubby has got this obsession with buying me exotic plants and 5 years later he still doesn't get it that they will die as I do not know how to care for an exotic species pmsl xxxx |

| Nothing! Not only am I in a grump with Dan and not exactly feeling lovey dovey - but its the day after my birthday so we never do anything both nights anyway Its very annoying having my birthday the day before cos we can never go for a 'normal' fun meal - always the soppy couples who dont want a party behind them and crappy menus! |

| My oh thinks it a waste of time and money, bl00dy grinch! I like to be spoilt but its not happening this year, we have sofa's to pay for this month and then holiday to pay off! He did mention us doing a come dine with me type thing but it be a join effort, And he has also mentioned going to the cinema to see the Film Paul! I bet we end up with so rubbish dinner and in bed by 10 lol |

| oh wow, i'm surprised with some of the answers, but hey i'm a hopeless romantic and so is my hubby.
he doesnt believe in buying flowers, but valentines day i get a dozen red roses, i dont get others during the year unless i buy myself a bunch, although he has surprised me with a small bunch after each scan.
we dont go out, but we have a night in, eat home made meal, which we make together and spend the night cuddled on the settee.
we buy cards and silly things.
i tell him i love him every day but valentines for us, was so lonely for so many years thats its a night we enjoy each other
what can i say we hopeless romantics |

Agree with this. V day is my birthday and can never get to go out without having to put up with the tat. Plan for us this year is for me to babysit while neil goes for a hospital appointment then i get to NOT open my birthday presents from him and c cos he has no money til he gets paid in a couple weeks and we are living on my wages instead. Joy joy joy |
