I had the opposite - Izzy decided she preferred cows milk and wouldn't take the toddler milk - which was a shame cos I liked her getting the extra vits

I'd say if you are happy to keep on with the toddler milk then do it - I'm sure it won't cause a problem in the future, he is bound to decide it tastes yuk at some point (cos it really does lol)

I think its fine to carry on with toddler milk. Caitlin still takes her dairy free formula that is recommended for 6mth+ (they drs havent offered a toddler version). I wont be trying Caitlin with cows milk again until she is 2.
She takes maybe 7-8oz in morning and only 2-4oz at bedtime. Im not worrying about it as I have no alternative, she does eat yoghurts and melted cheese now so she is getting calcium in her diet.

I bought one carton of toddler milk (because I had a voucher to get it cheap) realised it was so sweet it was designed to hook LOs and binned it.

I've just switched Charlie from aptimal toddler milk to cows milk, I've noticed he's not drinking all his morning bottle but I'm ok with that as he is fine during the day, he eats lots so I think he gets enough vits from food.
I'm not sure about other babies but c still has a bottle at naptime as well as his morning and evening ones so I figure he's ok!

I haven't actually sat and worked it out but I thought formula was more expensive than cows milk?

suppose it depends how you do it kell, i used to buy a fresh pint each day(or a 2 pinter) so over 2 weeks would cost over £7@ 60p per pint...whereas a tub of toddler milk costs £7 and lasts well over 2 weeks, maybe even 4 x

Izzy has a pint or so a day too, ours is 66p a pint delivered, so £4.62 a week

The toddler milk would last longer but I would still need to buy full fat for her cos she has it on her cereal - so its actually easier to just have all cows milk for her now
