Just sliced the pad of my thumb on a can. It's deep and was peein blood. Washed it in cold water and am currentky sitting with my hand in the air pushin on it with kitchen roll. It's stingin like a mother

probably could do with it being look at, is there a walk in clinic near you, or call docs and ask to speak to nurse for advice

docs will be closed. OH took my car today so i got no transport and he won't be home for at least an hour

call nhs direct 0845 46 47 and ask them what to do, they might be able to arrange you to see a doc or tell you if hosp is needed

i think defo need hospital it's an L-shaped cut abou 6 or 7mm at its longest

eek! phone nhs24 if you cant calm the bleeding and they should be able to tell you of somewhere local - a nurse could stitch it. otherwise pressure, elevation and tell oh to hurry up!

it only bleeds in there's nothing on it. its bloomin stingy

just back. Had to drive myself one handed to the hospital as he made a fuss about it bein nearly mia's bedtime and how she likes to move around and won't settle etc.

7 sticky stitches that i have to keep on for 4 days and all bandaged up now. Who's gonna do my dishes and bath mia?

It's on my right thumb and i'm right handed. Gonna be tricky to deal with the bubba and change nappies all by myself.

Worst part is when i got home he never even asked how i got on as he was snorin on the sofa. Never put my souo or sandwiches in the fridge either. Had to do it myself. Oh and he made dinner for himself and left the dishes unrinsed on the cooke !!!

Well this could be the test you need. Anyone would help out in your situation partner/family or friend. If he seriously thinks that you can do dishes/cook/care for mia 100% this next week then he is the most selfish man iv ever heard of.

This is his chance to prove himself - he's either a partner or someone who has a slave. Even if you were an employee to him (which sometimes I think he thinks you are as he pays bills!), you would be entitled to paid sick leave!

I have pointed out in the past that if he employed a nanny (day and night), cleaner, cook, personal shopper, secretary and prostitute he couldn't afford me pmsl
