I am on my phone so will post properly later. For now I will say that as has already been mentioned 22nd December 2012 is the official end of the age of Pisces and at the end of previous astrological ages there have been seismic shifts in humanity. The age of Pisces brought Christianity.

Are you sitting comfortably? Then I will begin...

As I said in my previous post 2012 marks the end of the age of Pisces and a move into the age of Aquarius. The beginning of the age of Pisces brought the establishment of Christianity hence the symbol of the fish, the loaves and fishes story and Jesus' disciplines depicted as fishermen. Aquarius is associated with water hence the end of the world being caused by a tsumani or flood.

December 22nd is a pivotal date in every year because it is the day when the sun reaches its lowest point in the Northern Hemisphere. The sun then remains low for 3 days before it begins to rise again on 25th December (hence our celebration on 25th December and 25th December being the birth of Jesus). People have worshipped the sun for thousands of years for the simple reason that it is needed for our survival.

With the end of an age and the standard 'death' of the sun it stands to reason that 22nd December 2012 would be singled out as the end of the world but it doesn't literally mean we are going to be wiped out or there is going to be a major natural disaster that destroys the Earth.

As I said previously the end of previous ages have brought about seismic shift in humanity, e.g. the start of Christianity and the fall of the Roman empire being the last major ones.

I believe that the end of the age of Pisces began a long time ago and is now rapidly building momentum. The evidence is the number of people who are dissatisfied with their lives and are challenging the teachings of religious and political leaders, the uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa are symptomatic of the global feeling of discontent. I believe that these uprisings will spread across large parts of the world as we fight to regain control from those who have oppressed humanity during the age of Pisces. The Muse even released a song called Uprising and the lyrics talk of the revolution against the control of our leaders.

I believe the age of Aquarius will bring a more spiritual, less materialistic, time with people being more connected, self-aware and taking greater responsibility for themselves. I believe the world will be a more peaceful place once we come out of the transition between Pisces and Aquarius.

I am quite passionate about this subject because it will make my beliefs more mainstream.

I personally think that once the Mayans got to a certain point they just got really bored and couldn't be assed to go past a certain point and thought it's ok they (the people of the future) will just finish off the calendar that we've started...

I agree with Gill it won't be the end of the world as we know it. We're all going to die in the year 2000 never happened, I stayed up all night, got very drunk, woke up on the 1st Jan 2000 and everything was the same............

My mum said all the computers than ran the world would stop as they wouldn't recognize the 2000! We're eating tinned potatoes, spam and fruit cocktail that she stocked up on incase there was no food!

Baby Milly..I think your mom and mine are the same person! She did the exact same thing..but on a much larger scale. She even bought whole wheat grains and purchased a wheat grinder..stocked up on non hybrid seeds..and they went crazy upgrading their cabin with solar power and buried cashes of guns and ammo on the property.

You wont know about it if it did. we'd all go together thats the main thing and quick (I hope)

does worry me a little, but nothing we can do. I do think somethings going on with these earthquakes and flooding. but dont think the worlds ending more like going into new age.
but if we go we'l go, funny enough I thought that about all this budget stuff and cuts, something was on yesterday and said cuts made in 2013 thought well im not worried might be not here by then lol

And if people knew it was going to happne like said before they wouldnt say nothing, there would be riots! xxx
