| Rowan's woke up this morning with a few spots that are raised red and with a yellowish top. His class has had a break out so knew he would get them.
I've had the chicken pox when I was 6.
But will the baby be ok? do I need to contact my midwife at all? |

| I agree with Laura, give her a call but as you've had them you should both be fine! |

| Ah Kelly this has been my worst fear since becoming pregnant I'm not sure what the repercussions are so might be worth having a little chat with your MW. Although I have just found this on baby centre http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/physicalhealth/chickenpox/ I've only glanced at it but looks like if you've already had it yourself then you should be immune. xxx |

| You should be fine huni, I came into contact with Chicken Pox when I was pregnant with Drew but my MW said once you've had it once you are immune (I've had it twice! Once as a child then again when I was older, late teens/early 20's) It is when you have never had it that they worry xxxxxxxxx |
