Some of you may remember a post i made about us selling our flat and having a buyer for it but the offer she put in was for £132,000 when our flat is up for £144,995 so we said £135,000 and she can have it so she said ok but the next day she said she couldnt do it so put the offer back to £132,00 so in the end we agreed. So thats where we were at until a couple of days ago when the estate agent called me to say she has been on the phone again saying she is worried that she isnt going to be able to afford it all with estate agent fee's etc so if she could have it for £130,000 then she would commit 100% we really didnt want to go that low but we also are very desperate to move so we went back to her and said if she pays out estate agent fee's she can have it for that price but she has said no to that!
I'm getting so stressed out with the whole sittuation especially as we have found a house we love that has no chain and only needs a little bit of work, I just cant believe someone can mess you about so much, we have someone else coming to look at the flat tomorrow so hopefully they will want it and put a higher offer in but to be honest i've just sort of given up now and just have this feeling that no one is going to buy it and we are going to be stuck here. I just feel so down in the dumps.

Aww I am sorry Laura, she sounds like she is taking the p*ss to be honest so personally i would not drop the price anymore as she is already getting it cheap. Someone will buy it but i know it doesnt feel like it when you are waiting x

hmm I really think cos she has got you to back down to her demands once and so now she thinks she can continue to get her own way.

I am afraid I would just put my foot down and say no, this is how its going to be or nothing.

You might lose the house you were looking at - but is it worth giving her the flat for loads less than its worth?!

TBH I'd tell her the price has gone up again to £135k. She is taking the piss now, she should fully consider her offer before she makes it and I'd be saying that to her too!

She probably can afford it but she is taking you for a complete ride. I would back out of the deal and take my chances finding another buyer. If she is doing this now she will almost certainly do it right up to the point where she has the keys.

Thats what i thought, i can see us get to the point where we are about to exchange then she'll pull out. I hate her!!

I agree with Lisa and say it's now at £135k take it or leave it. If she knows you're desparate to sell then she will try it on, annoying as it is.

go back to her telling her you have another viewing tomorrow and that they seem really keen and the price stays at 132 or you take the next offer hun scare her
