Ok Thursday spots have burst and have now (i'm really sorry I hate this word) scabbed over.
Now theses are starting to bother him. He hates the lotion and I have to chase him to get it on.
But he has some on his testicals and they are red raw. We've kept his nappy off since Thursday as he uses the toilet and he's washed every day with just water but they look so sore. it only bothers him when I need to clean him.
Is there anything else I can do or should or should not be doing?

Sorry hun, I have no idea, but I Suzi is probably right, any sort of nappy rash cream may help soothe him.

I agree nappy rash cream for his poor little boy's bits.
I got Wil some anti-histamine medicine (Piriton) I think from the docs and that seemed to help with the itching. You can buy it over the counter for age 6+ but I think the one for LOs is only pharmacy or docs.

thank you for the replies. he seems to be coping really well.
When anything itches he comes over to me and points to where it itches and asks for cream.
so i put his lotion on and he's forgotten about the itch. having to apply it twice a day at most when he asks.
